TailEnd — Support
TailEnd is an offline life calendar. Your records stay on your device, and there is no account to sign in to.
Need help or found a bug?
Email support@sunlitgamestudio.com. Email is the one way we may receive information from you: your email address and whatever you put in the message, which we use only to reply. Please do not send a backup or sensitive capture content unless it is necessary for the issue and you are comfortable sharing it.
To help us investigate, include:
- Your device model (for example, iPhone 15 Pro)
- Your iOS version and TailEnd version
- A short description of what happened and the steps that led to it
- A screenshot, if you are comfortable sharing one
Frequently asked questions
Where is my TailEnd data stored?
On your device, in TailEnd’s local database and app documents. There is no TailEnd account, cloud sync, or server that stores it for you.
What does a backup include?
A JSON backup includes settings, capture metadata, people, and eras. It does not include photo files or intentions. Treat a backup as private because its metadata may still be personal.
What happens when I restore a backup?
Restore overwrites the local records covered by the backup and clears all local intentions. Photo files and intentions cannot be restored from a TailEnd backup because they are not included in one.
Why can’t I find a photo after restoring?
Photo files are intentionally excluded from JSON backups. A restore cannot bring them back; keep the original photos in your photo library or another backup you control.
How do I turn off weekly notifications?
Turn them off in TailEnd or in iOS Settings. The notifications are optional and scheduled locally on your device.
Why am I being refused at the age gate?
TailEnd is not available to people under 16. People ages 16 and 17 can use the app in wonder mode.
