Sunlit Game Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use our website at sunlitgamestudio.com or our mobile app KinLife (together, the “Services”).
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
- Purchase and subscription data. When you make an in-app purchase or subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat assigns you an anonymous user ID and receives purchase receipt data from Apple on our behalf. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Device and crash data. We use Expo and its associated services (EAS) to deliver app updates and capture crash reports. This may include your device type, operating system version, app version, and crash logs. This data is used solely to fix bugs and improve stability.
- Gameplay data. Game state (your clan, progress, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not upload or sync gameplay data to our servers.
- Website analytics. This website uses Vercel Analytics to collect basic, anonymous usage data (such as page views and general location). No individual visitors are tracked across sites.
Third-Party Services
The following third-party services may process data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy:
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
- Expo / EAS — app delivery and crash reporting
- Apple — app distribution and payment processing
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
We share data only with the third-party services listed above, to the minimum extent necessary to operate the Services, or if required by law.
Data Retention
Support emails are retained as long as needed to resolve your inquiry. Crash and analytics data is retained per each third party’s own retention policies. Subscription and purchase records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.
Children’s Privacy
KinLife is rated 12+ on the Apple App Store. The app contains no content appropriate only for adults — infrequent mild themes (conflict, loss, romance) are handled in a restrained, age-appropriate way consistent with Apple’s 12+ guidelines.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from any user. The third-party services we use (RevenueCat, Expo) may collect minimal anonymous device data as part of normal app operation; we do not receive personally identifying information from these services. Users under 13 should have a parent or guardian review this Privacy Policy. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information directly (e.g., via a support email), please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to opt out of certain data uses. To make a request, get in touch here.
